KitKat® Roll-out Sugar Cookies

In light of the recent KitKat heist… we made cookies. These KitKat® Roll-Out Sugar Cookies are what happens when a classic cut-out cookie gets a chocolatey upgrade. Soft, buttery, and packed with crispy KitKat crunch, this dough rolls out like a dream and bakes with clean edges: perfect for decorating or sneaking straight off the tray.

KitKat® Roll-Out Sugar Cookies

Yields 12 cookies


Ingredients


Directions

  1. Cream the butter and sugars until light & fluffy.

  2. Add egg and vanilla. Mix until combined.

  3. Add dry ingredients and mix well.

  4. Gently fold in chopped KitKat. 

  5. Roll out dough and refrigerate for 1-2 hrs. 

  6. Preheat oven to 375°F

  7. Cut out in desired shapes and bake for 10-12 minutes


For royal icing: add 1-2 tsp vanilla extract to your icing.
