Ingredients
1 C unsalted butter
1 C Sugar
1- 2 tsp peppermint extract
1 large egg
3 drops green food coloring
3 C flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 C mini chocolate chips
1/2 C Andes crème de menthe baking chips
Preparation
Cream the butter and sugar.
Add egg, food coloring, and peppermint flavoring. Mix well. Add dry ingredients and mix until full incorporated. Add in baking chips.
Roll out dough between layers of parchment paper and and refrigerate for 1-2 hrs.
Cut out into desired shapes and bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes.
