Ingredients

1 C Unsalted butter

1 C Sugar

1 Large egg

1/4 C Cinnamon Bun Paste

1 tsp. Butter vanilla emulsion

1 tsp cinnamon

3 1/4 C Flour

3/4 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp. Baking powder

2 Tbl Sugar + 1 tsp cinnamon (to sprinkle on dough)

Preparation

Cream the butter and sugar.


Add egg and paste. Add dry ingredients.


Roll out dough between two sheets of parchment paper.


Lightly sprinkle cinnamon/sugar mixture on one side of the rolled-out dough. Place parchment paper over the top and flip the dough. Sprinkle the mixture over the back side of the dough.


Refrigerate for 1-2 hrs. Cut out in desired shapes and bake at 375 F for 10-12 minutes.


For royal icing: Add cream cheese emulsion while mixing your icing.
