If I could recommend one item, it would be this one. From the locking zipper for the main compartment, the slash proof straps and body, RFID blocking pockets, and water/dirt resistant. I mean... ALL of the things!!
Once of the biggest concerns I researched in the larger cities of Italy were the increased reports of pickpocketing. Being aware of your surroundings at all time is incredibly important but having a bag that help deflect unwanted attention is very helpful as well. This voltage converter was perfect for my curling and straightening iron needs during my trip. Once, a very long time ago, I started a small fire in my hotel room because I didn't have one of these while trying to dry my hair with a hair dryer, yup, I did no... but that's a story for another day... lesson learned, I was prepared this time and most importantly, no fire!

Nike Women's Blazer '77 Low Shoes
Comfortable shoes are a must when you're traveling and these Nike's were perfect on the cobblestoned streets of the streets of Italy. From sunshine to rainy downpours, these shoes got me through it all. I love the black and white design which coordinated with every outfit giving me ore space in my suitcases to bring things home.
